Lost and Found Animals

If you have lost your animal, please contact the adoption centre by phone at 905-637-7325 or by e-mail at burlingtonhumane@bellnet.ca

We will need the following information to complete a lost report:

• Date last seen

• Colouring and any identifying markings

• Sex of animal and if (s)he is neutered, spayed or declawed.

• If they were wearing a collar when last seen and if they have a microchip.

• Their name and age.

• Your name and a contact phone number to contact you if we find a match.

• The area your pet was last seen in.

You can also watch this page or the Burlington Post and Hamilton Spectator for our found advertisements to see if any match your pet.

Please inform us if you find your pet so we can concentrate our efforts on those that are still lost.

Found Animals

The following are animals that have been found and brought to Burlington Humane. Animals are cared for while advertised to find their owners before being brought over for adoption. If you think one of the listings matches your missing animal please contact the adoption centre by phone at 905-637-7325.

Please note that animals are only held for claiming for a limited time and then will be placed for adoption. The cats here are not currently available for adoption and are not in the shelter for viewing.
