The Burlington Humane Society receives no government funding and maintains an annual budget of approximately $250,000. With only one paid position, a working board and volunteers carry out our work.

By donating my HBC points from Zellers and The Bay to us! You must have your own HBC Rewards Card. Set up future donation of points via the www.hbc.com website. Click on HBC Rewards tab, then click Community Program and select Donate to Charity/Community Group. Our HBC Community Public ID Number is 6005568. You may then choose what percentage of your reward points you wish to be donated to BHS on future purchases. For transferring points already accumulated on your HBC Rewards card, you must do that at Customer Service at The Bay or Zellers. Please have the HBC Community Public ID Number with you.
By donating my Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum points to us! You must have your own Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum Rewards Card. Donate points via the Shoppers Optimum website. Click on Donate Now and once you have logged in (you need your Optimum Points card number and Date of Birth) choose Burlington Humane Society from the list of charities.
