Thank You Elle!Over Christmas, Elle decided she wanted to raise some money for the Burlington Humane Society in honour of dogs in need like a friend's dog named Lexi and her own cat who she got from our shelter years ago. She put a donation sheet up at Snap Fitness (located in Burlington) and asked people to make a donation of a few dollars in exchange for hand-made dream-catchers, which she made herself. Elle made dozens of these - working really hard every night to keep up with all her requests! You can imagine how much work it took for her to raise $100. Snap Fitness then kindly matched the funds raised for a total of $200. Elle is pictured here with kittens, Ketchup and Pickles. |
